| Last Update to Website: November 19, 1998 I am researching the following surnames: MCGREW, FULKERSON, DOOLEY, BOTTS, GREINER, LOUGH, KING, EVANS, PENNYBAKER, YADON, HARDENBERGH, WARDEN/WORDEN, BEACH, PORR, HOELZLE, MOORE, KENNIN, KERCH, FERRIS, YALE, MANSFIELD and many more. What started out as a project to computerize my mother's hand drawn descendant trees, has turned into a hobby that keeps me busy during most of my spare time. I have been given many hand written genealogies by family members, that I am now trying to verify with census records, cemeteries stones, marriage licenses, birth records and death records. The MCGREW reports were updated November 19, 1998. I have two McGrew Descendancy reports, which I have not been able to tie together. The first report is descendants of ROBERT and ISABELLA MCGREW, who came to American about 1726 from Ireland. It is my belief that my husband descends from this family. I have not found the connection, so my husbands ancestors can be found in the second report, Descendants of ROBERT MCGREW and DOROTHY GRAHAM. I have changed the father of REED MCGREW, born 1782 in Pennsylvania, from FINLEY to ROBERT. REED can be found in the second report. REED'S mother, DOROTHY GRAHAM, has stayed the same. Thank you Jessie for helping me realize that I had Dorothy married to the wrong McGrew. The HARDENBERGH report was added March 17, 1998. The HARDENBERGH line starts with Job Hendricxsz VAN HARDENBERCH born ABT 1544 in Utrecht, Netherlands. Jan Jacobsz VAN HARDENBERGH came to America sometime before 1644. Many of the HARDENBERGH's settled in Ulster County, New York. My most recent ancestors located in Bradford, Luzerne, and Wyoming Counties, Pennsylvania. The WORDEN/WARDEN report was updated August 28, 1998. The WORDEN's/WARDEN's came to American, from England, about 1638. The WORDEN genealogy begins with the first ancestor to America, PETER WORDEN I born in England in 1569. The WORDEN Family settled in Barnstable, Massachusetts. I added some descendants of Captain ELIAS WORDEN, thanks to DONALD R. WERDEN. I have been checking census records for the WORDEN's/WARDEN's and will be making more changes in the near future. The BOOK of my other family surnames was added on April 18, 1998. This book contains a table of contents and index to the following surnames: BEACH, MANSFIELD, PORR, HOELZLE, BOTTS, DOOLEY, KING, EVANS, YADON, VOLCKERTSZEN / FULKERSON, LOUGH, and GREINER. I will gladly share more detail information with anyone interested in these lines. Please let me know if you find any errors, or if you have more McGrew's that I can add to this site. I recently created a new website at geocities. At this site, I l have more detailed reports of the MCGREW'S. I will slowly be adding other surnames as my time permits.
