Passenger and Immigration Records
Each of these CDs contains information gathered around the time of an individual's or family's immigration to North America. Ship passenger lists usually include:
  • name of the head of the family
  • name of the ship
  • dates and ports of departure and arrival

Some later lists have additional details, such as each individual's religion, occupation, and previous residence.

Names of wives and children, when available, may help you pinpoint a family in other records that list more than just the head of the family (such as a marriage or pedigree record).
