Problems Viewing Images Using AOL
Some AOL users report that when they try and view images (including census microfilm) that are a part of their subscription that the image does not appear. It may happen to just some. We've found that changing some of the settings in the AOL software eliminated this problem. Here are the steps to follow
- If it is not already running, start AOL
- Go to Settings and choose Preferences
- From here choose Internet Properties: (WWW).
- On the General tab press the Delete Files in the Temporary Internet Files section.
- When that is complete, go to the Web graphics tab and select Never compress graphics.
