Notes for Jacob Alewine: About 1835 Jacob moved to Marshall Co., ALA, where he married Elizabeth Hicks. I have a Jacob Alewine born abt. 1776 married to Margaret ?. she died abt 1820. Jacob then married Elizabeth Hicks. He was probably born in SC.Moved to Marshall Co., Alabama in 1835 where he married Elizabeth. I don't show a daughter Rebecca for Jacob, though. Children of Jacob and Margaret were Isaac, Nancy, Delilah, Philip, Susannah, David and Margaret E. Jacob's parents were Michael Alewine and Mary Risinger. This Jacob had a brother Michael, who had a son named named Jacob, born Dec. 26,1808 I have two Rebeccas that married Alewines. Joseph Alewine born 1788 married Rebecca ??, My ancestors were Joseph A. Alewine b. 1824 married Rebecca Lightsey b. 1828. Both born in SC and died in GA. I hope this helps.
