We are attempting to trace the Abate ancestry originating in Palermo Province, Sicily, Italy, prior to the 1900's beginning with the name of Antonino Abate.
We are also attempting to locate any Schempre relatives from Bivona, Italy. Concetta Schempre immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1900's, leaving her father, Colsgero Schempre in Bivona. The name has deviated to include Scambray and Schempri.
