I began researching the Abate Family history when my father-in-law's Alzheimer's disease prevented him from living in the present moment. Going back in time allowed him to be free from the confusion of everyday life. It brought him joy to speak about his mother, father and brother's and sisters. Through this journey of his past he shared many wonderful stories. Many of which I hope to post on this website someday. He has since passed away but my family research continues on, as a small tribute to a wonderful man we all loved, Alex S. Abate. |
