My Abernathy Genealogy Home Page

I am researching the Abernathy family from Bristol Parish, Virginia. Charles Abernathy came from Scotland sometime in after 1720. He married Alice Short, daughter of William Short, and they had at least five children: William, Peter, Laban, Harmon, and Freeman.

Other names of interest: Clayton, Tarpley, Ray, and Reed.
