THE ABERT FAMILY TREE. The ABERT name was originally HEBERT. LUC (or LOUIS) HEBERT moved his family from Montreal Canada to Baldwinsville, New York either in 1883 or 1884. He had a sister in Montreal named MARIE PAPINEAU who remained in Montreal.The Lysander Town records located in Baldwinsville listed the last name as ABAR in their 1865 listings but the 1870 census records shows the name ABERT. That name has been used by all descendents of LUC HEBERT.I have constructed a family tree dating back to LUC ABERT that is complete with names, Dates of Births, Weddings, Etc. of almost all of the family.
