| I am researching the Ables family from East Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Paul Ables was born in Mississippi around 1833 and then moved to the Ruston, La. area. He and Sara had several children, one of which was my Great Great Grandfather Lewis A. "Abe" Ables. He married Margaret Ann Graham 1884 and they had three daughters: Mary Elizabeth, Annie, Effie Lela and two sons: John Alvin, William Paul "Bill" Ables. I'm trying to find out more information for Paul Ables because the trail kind of ends here. In addition, I'm researching the John Lindsey family of Louisiana. He married Alice A. McCullin who had Claudia Lindsey in Ruston, La. in Dec 1893. Claudia Lindsey eventually married John Alvin Ables. Specifically, I am trying to locate any details to the parents and further genealogy of John and Alice. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have |
