| Greetings: I began researching my family history on a whim and had very little information to start with. Through the amazing resources of the Internet, along with the generous assistance of fellow tree climbers lurking the web, I have made huge progress. This is my modest way of returning the favour of those who have helped me along the way. My main focus thus far has been my paternal Abney line and I welcome any queries or contributions. My family tree starts in Leichestershire,England, with the first of my ancestors arriving in the US in Albermarle County,VA; and then continuing on to Rockcastle County, KY, where many still remain.
