Johan Alfred Svensson is my Great Grandfather. He came to the United States in 1893 and was known as Alfred Swanson. He was born October 24, 1873 in Skede, Jönköping län, Sweden. In 1874, Johan and his parents, Sven August Johansson and Maria Lovisa Magnisdotter, and his older brother Karl August Teodor moved to Bäckseda parish near Vetlanda. There, the family grew to have 7 more children: Frida, Hilda, Hulda, Oskar, Gustaf, Ester, and Eric. MY GOAL: To find living descendants (son's, daughter's or grandchildren) of Johan's brothers and sisters. If you know the whereabouts of any of these people or their descendants PLEASE contact me.
