The Jewell Family Home Page

I have been researching the Jewell Family (particularly from the area of Kentucky) for quite some time beginning with my father Lorren W. Jewell and his direct ancestors, adding ancestors and descendents as I have researched and found them. My research has taken me on an enjoyable journey with letters and phone calls to close and distant relatives, trips to various historical libraries, and letters to various government agencies.
I am willing to share whatever information I have found and willingly accept any corrections on information I have included due to error on my part.
Other researchers have generations beyond John Anderson Jewell, my great-great grandfather, but I have yet to be able to find proof this is true, so have not included them in my ancestor line. Any help making the connections would be greatly appreciated.
