9. GORDON WESLEY ROWLADER4 SR. (MINTA DORIS3 HYNES, MICHAEL SYLVESTER2, MICHAEL SYLVESTER HYNES1 SR.) was born September 17, 1921 in Woodland, Michigan, and died May 28, 1980 in Anchorage, Alaska. He married DOLORES IVA GREENING July 11, 1947 in Brooklyn, MICHIGAN, daughter of Glen Greening and Iva Hinkle.

Gordon was born in Wooldand, Michigan on a 140 acker farm that was in his fathers famiy.He was an only child of Minta Hynes and Donald Rowlader. At age 4 his mother left the homestead and Gordon was awarded custody to his father with summer visits with his mother.At age 15 his father died of an overdose of inslin. He then granted custody to his mother by choise and lived with her until grown. He attended Jackson High school and graduated in 1939. While in school he was in both band and orchestra. He had great musical talent. He composed music as well as played it.In band he played the tuba. He also played some trumpit but mostly played the base and guitar. In April of 1942 he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the South Patific during the 2nd. world war. He married Dolores Greening in July of 1947 and fathered 4 children, Randy Rennis-2-2-48,Robin Rayner-5-23-52,Gordon Wesley,Jr. 6-15-54 and Connie Michelle-3-23-63. In 1964 he requested discharge from the Marine Corps and moved to Alaska. Dolores divoeced him in 1964 and in 1970 he remarried. That marrage brought about a daughter Mitilda,Bunny, 2nd. wife died if T.B. in 1972. He remained in Alaska until his death on May 28, 1980.

16. iv.   CONNIE MICHELLE ROWLADER, b. March 23, 1963, Jackson, Michigan.
10. WILLIAM SYLVESTER4 HYNES (OWEN MICHAEL3, MICHAEL SYLVESTER2, MICHAEL SYLVESTER HYNES1 SR.) was born May 23, 1921 in Woodland, Michigan, and died November 07, 1993. He married (1) EVELYN BLANCH OSWALD January 04, 1946. He married (2) ALICE A. SMITH June 18, 1977.

       Children of William Hynes and Evelyn Oswald are:

  i.   JAMES LYNN5 HYNES, b. July 30, 1938; m. BERNADINE BROCK, August 17, 1957.
  ii.   MICHAEL OWEN HYNES, b. September 30, 1946.
  iii.   JEFFERY WAYNE HYNES HYNES, b. March 23, 1954; m. KRISTINE KENT.
11. HUBERT LA VERN4 DECKER (BESSIE MARY3 HYNES, MICHAEL SYLVESTER2, MICHAEL SYLVESTER HYNES1 SR.) was born October 30, 1921 in Woodland, Michigan. He married DOROTHY ELIZABETH BAKER January 25, 1959.

       Children of Hubert Decker and Dorothy Baker are:

12. DOROTHY4 DECKER (BESSIE MARY3 HYNES, MICHAEL SYLVESTER2, MICHAEL SYLVESTER HYNES1 SR.) was born May 01, 1935 in Woodland, Michigan, and died March 03, 1994 in Nashville, Michigan. She married (1) WILLIAN RALPH SWIFT October 04, 1953. She married (2) GEORGE HUBERT SCHIBLEY October 18, 1986.

Dorothy J. Decker, Swift, Schaibly-Age 58, of Woodland and formerly of Nashville , went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 3, 1994 at her home. She was Born on May 1, 1935 in Nashville the daughter of Clayton and Bessie (Hynes) Decker. She graduated from Nashville High school in 1953 and attended Lancaster Bible College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Grand Rapids School of Bible and Music.She married William Swift on October 4, 1953 in Nashville. He went to be with the Lord November 3, 1981. She married George Schaibly October 18, 1986. She served on mission field in Israel, Belixa, And Alaska. She did children work for the Good News Clubs in her home and in other communities for many years. She was a member of the Barryville Methodist Church, Peoples Biblechurch, Vermontville Bible Church, Kilpatrick United Brethen, Faith Bible church in Woodland, and the Hastings Baptist Church, She was a member of the Gideon Auxillary serving on many offices and distributing many bibles. She was a 4-H leader, member of the Maple Leaf Grange and made maple syrup with her family.She enjoyed horses and serving the Lord.She is survived by her husband George; sons Clayton (Leona) Swift of Bristol, Indiana, Kalen (Sherry) Swift of Nashville: Daughter, Karen,(Cliff) Byington of Lake Odessa: nine grandchildren: step son, Duane (Margaret)
schaaibly of Woodland: Brother Hubert (Leona) Decker of Vermontville: Sister Thelma (Clair) Fasset of Nashville. Funeral services were held Saturday March 5, 1994 at Hastings First Baptist Church with Reverend Kevin Shorkey, Reverend Dan Smith and the reverend Paul Boger officiating. Burial at Wilcox Cemetary, Nashville. Memerial contributions may be made to Gideons International. Funeral Arrangements were made by Maple Vally Funeral Chapel.

13. THELMA4 DECKER (BESSIE MARY3 HYNES, MICHAEL SYLVESTER2, MICHAEL SYLVESTER HYNES1 SR.) was born April 23, 1938 in Nashville, Michigan. She married CLAIR EUGENE FASSETT August 24, 1957.

       Children of Thelma Decker and Clair Fassett are:

  i.   CAROLYN5 FASSETT, b. November 20, 1959; m. TIM FORBUSH.
  ii.   DOUGLAS LYNN FASSETT, b. November 18, 1960; m. BRENDA STARR, April 11, 1992.
