The 1880 Census listed John H. Ackerman, age 20, occupation carpenter, living with his father-in-law in Acquackanonk Twp (now Clifton) with Herbert V. Ackerman, age 1. No Ida Mae (as we, her great-grandchildren knew her) was listed. There is a Mary I. age 20, Daughter, listed which fits.
