According to the 1900 census, Brower, Sarah E. was residing with two daughters and four grandchildren in Acquackanonk Twp. (Clifton) NJ.

I am assuming that Sarah E. Smith Brower was the "Grandma Smith" that my grandfather Herbert V. Ackerman referred to in conversations I had with him. I don't remember the context of the talks, just the name "Grandma Smith". She must have lived to a ripe old age for my mother to have met her. (Margaret Cooke and John H. Ackerman married in 1927)
