48. ERMA ANN⁴ SCHLUETER (LOUISE CHARLOTTE³ BREHM, JUSTUS², ANTON¹) was born November 12, 1889. She married CARL JACOBS May 21, 1916.

I never knew Aunt Ernie until her last three years of her life. She moved to Winner, SD after leaving Carl Jacobs. She had cancer (melanoma) and came her to Yankton to dee Dr. McVay. Aunt Ernie lived with us off and on her last three years. She had worked in the Pheasant Cafe in Winner all the years she lived there. She went back to Winner the last month of her life. I went there her final week and cared for her in the hospital.

Erma Ann Schlueter divorced Carl Jacobs and died as Erma Trimble in Winner, South Dakota.

49. HARRY JACOB⁴ SCHLOTFELT (ANNA ELIZABETH³ BREHM, JUSTUS², ANTON¹) was born February 26, 1898 in Cedar Township - Benton County, IA, and died December 25, 1951 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He married (1) MARIETTA BARROW September 12, 1918 in Waterloo, Iowa. She died October 14, 1918 in died near La Porte City, IA. He married (2) ADA LEANORE KEITH December 25, 1919 in family farm near Spearville, KS, daughter of MERTON KEITH and FLORENCE ANDREWS. She was born June 6, 1897 in Delhi, Iowa - Delaware County, and died February 8, 1985 in Coralville, Iowa.

Notes for HARRY JACOB SCHLOTFELT:
      Harry J. Schlotfelt, of Muscatine, Iowa, died on Christmas morning in Oskaloosa, Iowa of injuries received in an automobile accident. He and his family were enroute to spend Christmas with Mrs. Schlotfelt's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Keigh, and other relatives when the accident occurred.
      Funeral services were held in Muscatine and the next day in Mt. Auburn, Iowa, where he is buried.

Notes for MARIETTA BARROW:
Marietta died in a flu epidemic one month after her marriage to Harry Schlotfelt.

Notes for ADA LEANORE KEITH:
Ada had lived at Wild Cat Den State Park for a number of years before moving to 812 Pine St. and then to Coralville.
She worked at the Maid Rite No. 1 from 1952 until she retired in 1970.
She is buried in the Mt. Auburn, Iowa cemetery.

Fritz and Louise Katz-Diers Riisoe were in attendance at Harry and Ada's wedding. Harry had been a guest at their wedding in August of 1919.\\

ADALENE EDNA⁵ SCHLOTFELT, b. August 19, 1920, Benton County, Iowa; m. ROSS WILLARD BELLINGER, February 24, 1941, Ft. Scott, Kansas; b. August 23, 1915, La Porte City, Iowa; d. August 22, 1994, Muscatine, Iowa.

Notes for ROSS WILLARD BELLINGER:
Ross was a member of the Kilpeck Community Friends Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hunting. He was a 28-year heavy equipment operator for Martin-Marietta.
Services for Ross were held at the church with his grandsons as pallbearers and his granddaughters as honorary pallbearers.

50. RALPH CHRISTIAN⁴ SCHLOTFELT (ANNA ELIZABETH³ BREHM, JUSTUS², ANTON¹) was born June 12, 1901 in Cedar Township - Benton County, IA, and died January 16, 1956. He married RUTH ANNE GIRDNER November 29, 1935 in West Concord, MN.

Ralph Christian Schlotfelt died of a heart attack.
