Notes for Frank Cecil Strickland: Lived in San Bernardino, CA for 3 years before his death. He was retired and had been a druggist by trade. This information was taken from his death cert. He lived most of his life away from his family . He was a Pharmacist by trade and they came from the Rockford IL. area when they were young. The only thing I remember anyone telling me about him was that he had snow white hair. I never saw him or was told any thing about him from either my Grandmother or my mother.

Frank Cecil Strickland, 68, died Thursday at his residence at 948 Rialto Ave. He was born in Chicago, IL and resided in San Bernardino for 3 years. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Nettleton, San Bernardino; two sons, Jack of San Berd. and Roy, with the US Navy; six grd children; one sister, Mrs. W.B. Mulford(Fanny),Rockford IL. and one brother, Ross, Los Angeles.
Funeral services are pending at Stephens & Bobbitt Funeral Home.. ***
I went to the cemetery where Grandfather was to be buried. I was told he was cemated and his ashes picked up. This somewhat confusing to me as my grandmother has written in her book that he was buried on the 26th of december in San Bernardino, CA.
