Tilman Monroe Armfield (son of Isaac "Ike" Armfield and Elizabeth Hannah Piatt)⁵² was born 1859 in Montfort, Wisconsin⁵², and died 15 Jan 1934 in Minneapolis, Hennepin Co. Minnesota⁵². He married (1) Luella Ahrens. He married (2) Ella Margaret Wells on 03 Oct 1883 in Montfort ,Grant, WI.⁵², daughter of Oliver Penny Wells and Sarah Thomas.

After his divorce from Margaret Ella, Tillman married Luella Ahrens, (born in Wisconsin), between 1899 and 1911. I was unable to find where they were married, but found that they lived in Davenport, IA. When a daughter, Irene B. Armfield was born. They also had at least one other daughter, Ada Armfield.
When I checked the cemetery regarding Tillman, they were able to tell me that there was an Irene B. Armfield. Consequently I obtained her death certificate and found the following were buried there also.

I received an e-mail from Connie Stenhjem, a desendent of the Armfield family. In the e-mail she sent me some birth and death dates of Tilmans family. One of the names she sent was Margaret Ellen Armfield who died 09 December 1947, but did not know how she fit into this family.

The above information I received from Margaret Armfield, and her husband Ralph is a grand son of Tillman.
