| I have been looking for more information on my great great gran father samual acree. we have a yearly familey reunion in bartow fl. at the county park there in may usualy.before that they were held at peace river park east of bartow and at bonnie lake before that. my father is stuart francis acree. his father was stephen fredrick acree. the early acree's came into north fl and settled around madison county some in the settlement of salem as others moved to central florida between orlando and tampa. some were located in tiger town which has since dissapeared from maps. one of the acree wives was nancy elizabeth garrett i beleive from the orlando area. |
