George Adams of Rockingham Co., NC left a will in Rockingham in 1802 naming his children: William Adams, James Adams, George Adams, Thomas Adams, Peggy Adams Wisnor, Francis Adams and grandsons James Adams and Person Adams. Thomas Adams the son of George Adams married Ann Vaughn apparently in Rockingham Co., NC and left Rockingham Co. prior to 1799 as he purchased property in Davidson Co., TN (later became part of Williamson Co., TN.) from Martin Wisnor in 1799. Thomas died that same year leaving his wife and children: George, Nancy Adams m. George Washington Waters, James Adams, Daniel Adams m. Susannah Fielder, Sally Adams m. Unknown Taylor, David Adams m. Betsy Feilder and Ann Adams m. Littleberry Hobbs. I Would like to hear from any one researching this family.
