I am researching the DOLAN family of Brierfield, Abbeyknockmoy, Co. Galway. There are many surnames connected with this line. Some major ones are: BRANNELLY, CONCANNON, CONROY, DEMPSEY, DOLLY, MANNING, MANNION, MEEHAN, and MULLEN/MULLIN.
You will find a little information on my paternal line - CARTY - LAWLER/LAWLOR. I still have much to do on these lines. I do know that CARTY was from Ballyhoge, Co. Wexford and LAWLER was from Co. Carlow.
