| I am trying to research my family history. Unfortunately I have no information beyond my grandfather. My dad has past away and my mother does not know much of his side of the family. All of my grandparents are deceased so there is no help there. A long time ago my father paid thousands of dollars to have a family history done and from what little I know about it, our lineage goes back to the 1600's in Scotland (I believe). I have never seen the family tree and would like very much to figure it out. There are also links to my wife's side of the family, which I am still working on. Her mother's family is direct decendants of the Buckingham's that built the palace, according to everything we have found. Am still working on her dad's side of the family. Also working on my mom's side. Anyway, I would appreciate any help anyone might have in regards to my family tree. |
