Notes for Elias E. Adams: Obituary: The Evening Banner Tuesday, August 29, 1922 ELIAS ADAMS IS BURIED MONDAY AT NOTTINGHAM FORMER RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIED AUGUST 24 IN OKLAHOMA. The body of Elias Adams, a former resident of Chester township, who died at Keefer, Oklahoma; was brought to the home of his brother-in-law, Aaron Chenoweth, near Nottingham, Sunday. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon and Burial was made at the Woodlawn cemetery, at Montpelier. Mr. Adams and family left Montpeiar about seven years ago. The wife and an adopted son, Robert, survive, besides a brother, William Adams, and a sister, Mrs Aaron Chenoweth, of Nottingham. Death was due to blood poisoning due to injuries received about five weeks ago.
