Notes for Charles Adamson: Charles was the first of our Adamsons to emigrate to the US. He came alone on White Star Lines ship SS Teutonic sailing out of Liverpool March 12, 1902 and landing at Ellis Island, NY. William F. Beggs, Janet's brother and Charles' brother-in-law, paid Charles' fare, and was listed as his destination on the manifest. Janet and the two girls Mary and Nellie, came 6 months later in September with their uncle Henry Adamson. They sailed from Liverpool on the Majestic September 17th, 1902 and also landed at Ellis Island NY.
