OCCUPATION: The Reverend Joseph Bledsoe was a member of "The Travelling Church" and leader of the "Wilderness Church". The following excerpt names Joseph:
"Preachers were not lacking in the expedition itself. Joseph later constituted the Separate Baptist Church on Gilbert's Creek in Garrard Co., KY in 1783 alng with his son, the Reverend William M. Bledsoe, and his son-in-law, Thomas J. Chilton, Sr.
