I am researching Pouliot, Pepin and Dupont family history right now. I have found that the 18th century records have been the easiest to trace through, perhaps because of the immigration boom of the 19th century. My I am stuck in the 19th for my Pepin family tree with Godefrey Pepin, born abt.1830, husband of Josephine Boulet, born abt 1835.
In my Dupont line I am stuck on Guillaume Dupont, born abt. 1630, in Lucon, Poitou, France, married to Marie Guillbault. He has a son also named Guillaume born about 1650 who was married to a Suzanne Matayer. I have found info on another father and son both named Guillaume born about the same time in a different part of France and married to other women, so be informed there are two sets, I wish info on the first set.

In my Pouliot line I have made it back to the same place it seems everyone in North America has, Jean Pouliot and Jeanne Josse, born late 16th century, but if anyone ever finds anything more, I would be eternally grateful for sharing that info.
