| I am reaserching Adkins from Tennessee and Ohio. George Henry Adkins was my husband's grandfather and his great grandfather was George Adkins, he was married to Rebecca Jones. George Henry was born in Lewis Co. Tennessee Feb. 6 1887 and died in Decatur Co 1968. He was married to Minnie Hutson. G-grandfather George Died in Lewis Co. Dec.29 1952, he was buried in Banks cemetery, he was 81 years old Sept 12 of that same year. I do not have any other info on him or his wife. Any information on these Adkins would be greatly appreciated. George and Rebecca's CHILDREN ELIZA A FEB. 1883, G. HENRY FEB. 1887, WILLIE D. MAR. 1891 J. FRANK MAY 1892, SARAH JANE FEB. 1894, AMIE F. MAR. 1897, JOHN T. M. MAR. 1899. AS OF THE 1900 CENSUS OF LEWIS CO. GEORGE H.DEATH CERTIFICATE HAS HE WAS BORN IN 1862 BUT THE 1990 CENSUS HAS IT 1871? G.HENRY HAS HIS BIRTHDATE ON HIS SS APPLICATION AS 1879 BUT ON THE CENSUS IT IS 1887? |
