This family tree begins with the Sears and Ertel families of Butler County, Ohio, and extends to the Woolery, Southerland, Kuehlthau, Adomitis, Carpenter, Jackson, and Garrow families.

Our Sears ancestors arrived on the Mayflower and made their way to Whitley County, Kentucy, where many of their descendants live today. The Ertel family is descended from Daniel Ertel, the first land owner in Warren County, Ohio.

Many other families connected with these early settlers as they made their way to Ohio, including Alcorn, Riddle, Logston, Buster, Coyle, Durbin, Hunter, Sexton, Noe, Fugate, Green, Myer, Reins, Simpson, and Wallace.

As with all genealogy, this family tree is a work in progress. I would appreciate receiving additional information.

Thank You,
Cynthis Sears
