LANCASTER, WI. Florence L Houghton, 79, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, December 19, 1995, at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Lancaster.
Services will be at 11:00, Thursday at Schwartz Funeral Home, Lancaster, with the Rev Mark Dieter officiating. Burial will be in Cassville (WI) Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:00am Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Houghton was a homemaker and worked for Sauk Prairie Schools as a secretary and bookkeeper until her retirement in 1981.
She was born on December 5, 1916, in Patch Grove, daughter of Leroy and Pearletta (Harville) Cohoe. She married Kenneth Leroy Houghton on July 15, 1935, in Galena, IL.
Surviving are a son, Lawrence (Delores) Houghton, of Cassville, two daughters, Karen (Robert) Adrian, of Milwaukee, and June (Roger) Loomis, of Loganville; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Velma Morehead, of Lancaster, and Betty Treadway, of Tampa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Delbert Cohoe; and two sisters, Myrtle Cohoe, and Leora Millin.
