Judge Paxton Cohoe, 83 year old resident of Lancaster, died of pleural pneumonia at his home on February 22. He was born in Upshon, Peeble County, Ohio, on February 3, 1850. In 1880 he married Miss Emma Jane Rolston of Peru, Nebraska. They made their home in that state until April, 1922, when they moved to Lancaster. The funeral was held the 24th from the Goble-Weeden funeral home at 2:30. The Reverend Henry of the Methodist Church officiated. Interment was made at Hillside. He is survived by his widow, three sons: William and Charles of Lancaster and Roy of Glen Haven, and two daughters: Mrs C S (Vinnie) Steele of Lancaster and Mrs R L (Lena) Dailey of Grandview, WA.
