Goldie Marie Hines, 27, mother of six small children, one 4 months old, died Monday at a local hospital. She was the wife of Dean Hines, a Liberty Township farmer. She recently underwent surgery for appendicitis and was returned to the hospital following a relapse.
Services were held today (Wednesday, February 21, 1951) in the Goble-Weeden funeral home and later at Beetown Methodist church, the Rev Roberts officiating. Burial was in the Beetown Cemetery.
Born in Beetown township, Mrs Hines was the daughter of Louis E and Helena Bast Houghton.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Betty and Carol Ann; four sons, Louis, Willis, Robert and Donald; her parents; two brothers, Melvin, Cassville, and Lyle, Beetown.
