Robert F. Ferdelman, 73, of Silver City, New Mexico, died Saturday, December 12, at Gila Regional Medical Center. He was born February 28, 1925 in Rogers City and had been a Silver City resident for the past eight years.
Mr. Ferdelman was an accomplished musician and a retired music teacher. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Ferdelman was cremated and his cremains were buried in Fort Bayard National Cemetery, No funeral or memorial services are planned.
Surviving are his wife, Betty D. of Silver City, New Mexico; a son, Gary of Ann Arbor; and a sister Kathryn Holland of Anchorage, Alaska.
Cremation arrangements were in care of Boca's Funeral Home, Silver City.
