| The ADSHEAD family originated in Cheshire around the Wilmslow area. Eventually moved to Stockport in the 1800's, living in the Brinksway/Edgeley areas. I was born in Hazel Grove on 31 March 1929 and spent my working life in Stockport. 301/2 years with the police and 5 years with the Civil Service. On retirement moved to Devon in 1984. |
