20 Feb 1817: Orphans Ct of Calvert County grants letters test on personal estate of Wm Weems to Elijah Weems [Nat'l Intelligencer]
(I'm assuming this is Elijah's brother since Elijah was already administering the estate of his father in 1816. The dates of death for father William and son William Morris are not noted exactly in any source I've found so far, but apparently they died relatively close to each other. Both William and William M. were alive in 1815 because both signed the settlement agreement in the Chancery suit with David Weems.]

William Weems first son Dr. William Weems married Miss Mackall, lived in Baltimore at one time. At his death left three children, Augusta, who died single, Levin and William.

After Dr. William Weems' death, George W. Weems apprenticed the two boys to a sailmaker which of course put them on a lower plane. William married a very common woman, drank, and did not live out half his days. He left 2 children, a girl called Augusta and a boy. He (the boy?) had many good qualities and was smart, possessed a good memory. Dr. Reynolds thought a good deal of him.
