Notes for NOAH THOMAS DICKSON:
Noah joined the Confederate Army when he was about 17. He served with the 11th and 17th Arkansas Cavalry, Co. B and 1st Reg., MS Cavalry, Co. E. Noah and Senirah migrated to Gordan, Tx. soon after the war.

12. JOHN T. DICKSON³ RAYBURN (NOAH², THOMAS¹) was born January 18, 1830 in Dallas, Lafayette Co., Mississippi, and died September 29, 1860 in Lafayette Mississippi. He married MARTHA ANN AVENT May 22, 1855, daughter of BENJAMIN AVENT and OLIVE PATTON. She was born August 22, 1835 in Lafayette Mississippi, and died August 23, 1858 in Lafayette Mississippi.

Notes for JOHN T. DICKSON RAYBURN:
John died at the age of 30 in Lafayette Co., MS on Sept. 29, 1860. John T. and Martha Ann had only one known child. She was Olive K. Raburn born in Lafayette Co., MS about 1856. Olive was married on Dec. 24, 1870 to William Webb. Olive K was raised by her grandparents Noah and Elizabeth Raburn as she was only 2 when her mother died.
John T. was an early pioneer of Lafayette Co. Martha Ann's mother was Olive Crain Patton who was born March 26, 1807 and died in Lafayette Co. on Jan. 4, 1863.

Notes for MARTHA ANN AVENT:
Martha died at the age of 23 two years after giving birth to Olive. Olive was raised by her grandparents Noah and Elizabeth Raburn.
