* "The George C. Albright of Penna"*

Updated September 15, 2002

Hitting a brick-wall, am unable to determine George C. Albright's parents or birthplace; believe that George C. came from "Little York" when he journied with his father, also George and settled in the Bedford-Somerset area in the early 1800's.
George C. married an Elizabeth Abigail Kennell; moved his family out to Illinois. Life wasn't good there, so he moved his family back to Garret Co., Md; sold his small herd of cattle to the Union Army in the Cumberland, Md. area; resettled his family in the Allegheny Co., close to Hyndman, Pa.
