| My 'Corrado' wife and 'Albarado' self are doing our best to put together our family trees. Well, she has most of hers but I am starting with a whole lot of nothing...except a few names...Albarado apparently came from Alvarado from the Canary Islands. The name that originated from there was 'Pedro de Alvarado.' He was recruited by the Spanish to be a Conquistador and explore The New World. I actually saw his expedtion trail on a chart in one of history classes in school, surprisingly enough. After him is a huge gap that picks up in Louisiana in and about Lafayette (where I was born and raised). I have a little info but am hoping to dig up as much as I can with whatever I can... |
