My Albertson family migrated from New York to Kingston, Ontario, Canada approx 1796, then migrated to thumb area of Michigan in 1863.
Richard Albertson with wife Mary M Horning along with sons Albert, Henry, Richard, Cyrus, Charles, Orange, Schyler and daughter Rhoda are listed in 1861 census Frontenac Co., Ontario. All migrated to Michigan. Henry is my progenitor.

Early Canadian records have Richard Albertson emigrating to Midland District, Canada West. Later records have Richard Albertson's sons William, Richard and daughter Jane applying for UEL land in 1798.
