The Johann Michael Albrecht Descendants of Thurston, NE

Johann Michael Albrecht came from Dottenheim, Bavaria, Germany in l900. In l90l his oldest daughter Anna, and oldest son, Georg joined him. In l902 his wife Margaretha Pfund Albrecht, her son Jobst Pfund,Albrecht children Maggie, Babette, Maria, and Hans came to American. They came on the ship called the Statendam and landed at Ellis Island, New York. Mike went to Germany and brought back his daughter Kunnigenda Goellner in l9l0. They also took the ship called the Statendam and landed at Ellis Island, New York. The family lived five miles West and one North of Thurston, Nebraska.
The descendants of this family hold an annual reunion at the Wayne, Nebraska City Park at noon on the third Sunday in August each year. Family members have kept records of the desecendants of Michael & Margaretha. The records span five generations of this family. Although the family is spead throughout American, many still live in the viciniy of Northeast Nebraska. Few, however, bear the Albrecht sur name. We would like to have more information on Margaretha Pfund Albrecht. We also would like to know more information about the Albrecht relatives that came to American at the end of the l800's or early l900's.
