Notes for Gretchen Belle Bremer: Obituary, Daytona Beach News-Journal, Daytona Beach, Fl, March 10, 2002, p. 4c: "Port Orange - Gretchen Bremer-Hosken, 74, of Smokerise Boulevard, who retired from DuPont as a mechanical engineer supervisor, died Friday at Horizon Speciality Care Center, Daytona Beach. Born in South Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Bremer-Hosken came here in 1984 from Columbia, S. C. Her memberships included Community Unitarian Universalist Church, where she served on the Presidents Council and was a founding member; and Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed golf and traveling. Survivors include two sons, Bill and David Alewine, both of Alexandria, Va.; two daughters, Carolyn Taylor, Johnson City, Tenn., and Lillian Clifton, Hephzibah, Ga.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her fiance, Richard, Port Orange. Memorial donations may be made to Community Unitarian Universalist Church, 1124 Beville Road, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Volusia Memorial, Port Orange, is in charge."
