Bremer, 64, of 1825 St. Julian Place, Apt. 4-L, died Wednesday at the Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Iowa, a son of the late Martin L. and Alma S. Bremer. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and a member of the Georgia Bar Association, Dr. Bremer was also an author and an associate of the Baptist College of Charleston since 1976. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Doris Burns Bremer; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Valerie) Minnick of Arlington, Texas, and Mrs. A. E. (Joyce) Hall of Columbia; a son Charles J. Hall [sic, Bremer] of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Martin L. Bremer of East Moline, Ill.; and six grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, conducted by Rev. Dr. John Hamrick and the Rev. E. Harold Keown, Jr. The family suggests that those who wish may make memorials to the Baptist College in Charleston."
