Obituary, The Times, Gainesville, GA, April 1, 1995, p. 9A: “Martin L. Bremer Sr. Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 1995, in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel for Martin L. Bremer Sr., 71, of 460 Partin Road, Cleveland. The Rev. William Womer will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Bremer died Thursday, March 30, 1995, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness. Born in Iowa, Mr. Bremer had lived in Cleveland most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was owner and operator of Dairy Dip on Cleveland Highway, Gainesville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 600 South Enota Drive N.E., Gainesville, Ga. 30501, or to a favorite charity. Survivors include his wife, Janet Bremer of Cleveland; daughter, Sharon Johnston of Columbus; son, Martin L. Bremer III of Lake Mount; grandchildren, Ernest Kirk, Ashley Pace, Michelle Anderson, Jennifer Bremer and Martin L. Bremer IV. Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville.”
