| James Winton Alexander 31 Lodge Lane Lombard,IL 60148 630-629-4149 | The start date for this HOME PAGE is Dec 31,1997.My interest is to find more info on my great-grandparents ,JAMES and AGNES(nee SMITH) ALEXANDER.KNOWN FACTS:1) They were both born in ABERDEENSHIRE,SCOTLAND, James in 1832 and Agnes in 1839.2) James was apparently caught with gold fever and I believe spent some of the years c.1860 in COLORADO.3) James and Agnes were married in 1870 somewhere in WISCONSIN.4) The years from 1870-1898 wer spent on the family farm in WAYNE COUNTY, IOWA.5) They moved to Denver in 1898.Did a mine come in?6) In 1910 they returned to Iowa and James died that year.I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who knows more about JAMES and/or AGNES. |
