Cousins (after all, we probably are)
My family motto could be: “From the people of the wandering feet who seldom died in the same state they were born in-and plan to keep it that way!”

Welcome to the world of genealogy on the Internet, I have found it most helpful-backed up by other research. I recommend it to all. I strongly recommend rootsweb.com. As such, I am now list owner of two lists:
listowner: CECIL-L@rootsweb.com; CISSELL-L@rootsweb.com KRUTSINGER-L@rootsweb.com
The Cecil list covers all spellings for Cecil: Cissell, Sessell, Cisal, Cissel, etc. This surname goes back to Wales.
The Krutstinger list covers:: Cutsinger, Curtsinger, Krutzinger, Grietzinger, and the original Groetzinger. This surname goes back to Rottenacker, Germany. If you are interested in subscribing to share information with cousins, let me know.
The information I have submitted on the following pages is accurate to the best of my ability-but they are in the form of my raw notes so that you might have benefit of them. I am sure there are errors. Please contact me if you find an error. I have provided source documentation on some, but not all information. I have much more in my master database. I have found it necessary to track collateral surnames and their families to help me find and distinguish my direct folk from the cousin with the same given name. As I have benefited from the help of others before me, please feel free to borrow, plagiarize, and use the information to its highest and best use.

My father’s THOMPSON’s immigrated in the 1600’s to St. Mary’s Co, MD and are Catholic’s. They were part of the Maryland Palatinate that went to Kentucky en masse 1780-1805. Why my line went on to Clay Co, IL in the 1850’s (as opposed to anywhere else) I don’t have all the information on.
My father’s mother was had a GILLEY father and KRUTSINGER mother. (Reuben GILLEY, b 1827 in TN, m to Lydia Jane PHELPS-who were your parents?)
The MAY’s were late comers-immigrating in 1832 from the state of Hesse Darmstadt, Germany. The came in through the port of Buffalo, NY, moved to Portage Co, OH and then on to IL. (Barbara CUMMINS who had daughter Rosa Mary CUMMINS out of wedlock 3 Aug 1879 in Morgan Co, IN-who are your parents?)

Husband Don ALEXANDER is of the Stirling ALEXANDER line. He is also looking for more information on his RADER and FULLINGTON lines. They all ended up in Missouri. His Alexander’s came into colonial Maryland shortly after mine, then moved on to North Carolina, then to Tennessee and on to Missouri.

I am constantly working on up dating this information and much information is not posted.
I also have more listings at: http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=madagtenet
Take a look there too!
