* The Alexander-Durfee-Gilpin-Casey-Armstrong Family Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

I am interested in researching the Alexanders and Gilpins of Kentucky.
Also the James Casey (b. 1821) Family of Canada, James emigrated to South March, Ontario in the mid-1800s from County Cork, Ireland. He married Maria Halley (b. 1831) who had also emigrated from County Cork. They had 11 children, one Simon moved to Saskatchewan. Another, Roderick married Elizabeth Armstrong and are my great-grandparents. Elizabeth Armstrong (b. 1855, Nepean, Ontario, Canada) is the daughter of James Armstrong (b. 1804, County Cavan, Ireland) and Bridget Kelly (b. abt 1824, Nepean, Ontario, Canada). Other names prominent in the Canadian side of the family are McHale, Killeen, Williams.

I am also interested in the descendants of Thomas Durfee who arrived in Tiverton, RI around 1627 (this is the paternal side of my family). The Alexanders and Gilpins are my husband's family.

Any information would be appreciated and I would be very happy to share what information I have.
