I am researching the Pagano's and Alfano's. Both families came from the "Striano" and "Naples" area of Italy. They arrived at Ellis Island in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. As of September 26,2002 there are 609 descendants of NICOLO PAGANO and MARIE(Forgano)PAGANO. The five original children of Nicolo and Marie Pagano were GAETANO,ANTOINETTE(Alfano),CARMELLA(Carbone), FRANCESCO,and ALPHONSE.
