The David Josiah McKinleys of Ohio

The history of our family has been researched back to 800 AD to the McDuff family of Scotland. We are very fortunate in the fact that William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States was an important individual in our family history. He was my first cousin six times removed. One book and several articles have been written on our family. A lot of my research was done through the LDS records in my home town of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Our family originates in Scotland, to Ireland, and then to the United States in approximately 1743.
