Obituary Notes:
The "Register" last week made note of the sudden and severe illness of John B. Wildeson, a well known retired farmer near Altenwald. This week it becomes our duty to chronicle his death, which took place at his Quincy Township home on Monday at 4 pm. Mr. Wildeson had attained the age of 68 years, 2 months, and 10 days. He had been a successful farmer all his life-until some years ago when he retired. He first farmed on the Saum farm near Grindstone Hill, in Guilford Township, afterward moving to Quincy Township where he purchased a fine farm and managed it form many years. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and highly esteemed by all who knew him. Besides his widow, who was a Miss Mary McCleary, he is survived by a brother, Jacob T. Wildeson, and these sisters: Miss Elizabeth Wildeson, Mrs. J.W. Deardorff (Charlotte), Quincy, Mrs. Daniel Warrner (Sarah), and Mrs. Andrew Dansburger (Martha), Guilford Township.
