I have recently added a new line for Francis Putnam HAWTHORN and Hazel Beatrice FAIRCHILD. Surnames I am researching are with this line are WILKINSON/WILKERSON,BASSINETTE/BASNEY,JONES and more. 3. The REW name is not going as well. It has been passed down that John Scott Rew came from Stirling, Scotland. His wife Catharine C. Wallace came from Sligo, Ireland. The first account I have of them are in St. Louis, Missouri. The SMITH side of this family is also from St. Louis. Jonathon Bailey Smith from Rhode Island and Mary Jennings Watkins from Louisville, Kentucky. Some sunames in this group are BAILEY, CATTELL, CROSSMAN, KENNEDY, JENNINGS, SCOTT, WALLACE, WATKINS, WATSON, WIGGS WOODWARD. I also have names Roberts and Bacon as relatives but have not made the connection. 4. Cypert Matheny WIGGS and Mary Lena THETFORD. Other major surnames are GUERIN, SMYERS, KING, MORGAN, DAUGHERTY, GAY, CAMPBELL and more. I would love to hear from anyone with connections! |
