The following is the Genealogical Information on The ALLENs and GREERs of GWINNETT Co., the SORRELLs of HALL Co., PIERCEs of FORSYTH and JACKSON Counties, Georgia.

JEREMIAH 29: 11- 14 "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you." NIV Old Testament

In January, we will experience yet another anniversary of the passing of my brother Victor H. Allen II. We who knew Vic know how he loved life and life's special moments. Of the many things I miss most is his laugh and his passion for the little things we often take for granted. Sometimes I can still hear him laughing, singing and telling his stories.

This has inspired me to continue on with a project that I had been interested in doing for many years. It is long overdue.

I wish to give THANKS to all those persons that have contributed to this project and encouraged me in many ways.

Thanks go to many NEW cousins I have found recently as a result of this family search and am grateful for the information they have documented and shared.

Any relative is strongly encouraged to provide further information, corrections and details that are not included here.
Accuracy is of utmost importance.

I especially would like to collect ALL those special sayings that are so unique and the stories that go behind them. For example, What makes anything marked B.I.B so special?; and what exactly is the Alfalfa Language; Uncle Bucky's favorite childhood "Grace"; The day Bill Allen became temporarily speechless;the whereabouts of HARVEY "the &%#@ rabbit"; Pal telling you about the "Epizootics" and his recipe for "Slumgullion"; John (age 3)showing off his "ANTS"; Andrew's unassisted double play for Grampa Bill; More episodes of The Vic and Gary stories; Taft Smith's bugle and Bunker Hill; Magnolia grenades; Rebecca's dance and ballet recitals;Allena churning the butter and When Mr.Vic got attacked by a gaggle of geese behind the outhouse and many more family specials..... Send them to me. PLEASE.

I have the ability to scan photos and returning them.
Please send ANY corrected and updated information as soon as possible.
